The Guardian
Concert Band are currently looking to expand their membership, and whilst all
players are welcome, we are particularly looking to strengthen our cornet and bass/
lower wood wind sections
The rehearsals and the majority of the concerts are in the evening and we rehearse in licensed premises.
There is an initial joining fee of £14 (OAPs and students £3) for membership of the Ansdell Institute where we rehearse.
Subs for the band to cover room rental are £30/year (£25 for Senior Citizens & Students).
Although we
do not audition new players, they should be of a competent standard as we do not
have the facilities to teach beginner players.
